COTS Shutters

Brandstrom COTS shutters are manufactured to fit our COTS solenoids

  • D number series shutters will fit 3/8” and 7/16” solenoids.
  • A1320 Series Shutters are designed to fit our 7/16” COTS Solenoids only.
  • Finishes offered are no-finish and black anodize.
  • Shutters are under 10 grams and balanced about center of rotation.

COTS Aerospace Shutters

Brandstrom COTS shutters are manufactured to fit our COTS Aerospace solenoids

  • Brandstrom Instruments offers the A1320 Series as a large shutter for 1” (25mm) aperture requirements.
  • A1320 Series Shutters are designed to fit our 7/16” COTS Solenoids only.
  • Shutter is .016” 5052 Aluminum with Stainless Steel Counterweights.
  • Finish is Matte Black Anodize Per MIL-A-8625F, TYPE II CLASS II.
