We now provide durable, long life shutter flags to the infrared
imaging industry for chip calibration, and to the medical
industry for optical functions in fluid analysis machines.
The Brandstrom solenoid, with it's proven reliability, is
perfectly suited for these critical applications.
Our rotary solenoid actuated shutters have been used to block apertures ranging from
a few millimeters to two inches in diameter. We can
customize power requirements, travel, or blade dimensions
to your specific configuration. A variety of shutter
blade thicknesses, surface finishes, and mounting arrangements
are also available.
