From raw bar stock to final inspection, our precision shutter designs are manufactured in our Ridgefield, CT facilities using the most advanced multi-axis swiss type machinery.

Brandstrom shutters are chosen by prime contractors of the US DOD for high volume standard issue military products, and by NASA for space-based applications which face extreme shock, vibration, and vacuum environments.

Our rotary solenoid actuated shutters block apertures from a few millimeters to over two and a half inches in diameter. We can customize power requirements, travel, or blade dimensions to your specific configuration. A variety of shutter blade thicknesses, surface finishes, and mounting arrangements are also available.
